1. Information Wallspace collects
- Account and contact information, including email address and sign-in records.
- Artist profile, location, biography, social links, artwork, images, dimensions, prices, availability, and payout status.
- Venue identity, address, contacts, public presentation, rules, availability, commission, ownership or authority information, and payout status.
- Reservations, exhibition dates and lineups, logistics decisions, messages, and support or administrative requests.
- Purchase records, buyer email, receipt and pickup information, sale amounts, taxes, refunds, disputes, and payment status.
- Necessary technical records such as device, browser, IP address, sign-in cookies, security logs, and request diagnostics.
- Aggregated website visit measurements, such as pages visited, referring site, browser, device type, and country.
- Interest-form answers, such as your email address and the details you choose to share, if you ask to join Wallspace before being invited.
2. Payment and verification information
Stripe processes payment cards, connected-account onboarding, identity verification, tax-related information, and payouts. Wallspace does not need to store full payment-card details, but receives transaction, account, verification-status, dispute, transfer, and related metadata needed to operate and support payments.
3. How information is used
- Provide accounts, public profiles, search and browsing, reservations, exhibitions, messages, checkout, receipts, pickup coordination, payments, payouts, and support.
- Verify identity and authority, prevent fraud or duplicate sales, enforce agreements, keep users and the service safe, and resolve disputes.
- Calculate and report fees, commissions, transactional taxes, and business records.
- Monitor service reliability, diagnose problems and keep Wallspace secure using necessary operational records.
- Understand how many people visit Wallspace and which pages they use, using aggregated measurements.
- Review interest-form answers and contact people about joining Wallspace.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
4. Public information
Approved artist profiles and valid artwork listings may be public, including artist name, city and state, biography, profile image, social or personal-page links, artwork images and details, price, and display or sold state. Public venues may show name, curated location, images, website or social link, commission, booking rules, availability ranges, and public exhibitions.
Wallspace does not intentionally publish private account email, phone, raw postal details, messages, payout data, payment identifiers, or internal reservation operations merely because a profile or exhibition is public.
5. When information is shared
Wallspace does not sell personal information for money and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the current launch product.
The in-person pickup checkbox records a buyer declaration through the accepted Purchase Terms version and time. Wallspace does not use that declaration to verify location or record that physical collection happened.
- For an artwork purchase, the relevant artist and venue may privately see the buyer email, receipt reference, and payment status in their own Sales records for transaction support, not marketing. These buyer details are not public or included in artist/venue sale-notification emails. The buyer receipt link is private; anyone you share it with may be able to view that receipt.
- With the artist, venue, or buyer to perform a reservation, exhibition, sale, pickup, or support request.
- With service providers that host or operate Wallspace, including Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting and website analytics), Stripe (payments and payouts), Resend (email delivery), Tally (interest forms), Google Workspace (support email), security providers and professional advisers, subject to their roles and agreements. If you open an interest form from Wallspace, the email address you entered may be pre-filled in that form.
- With authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganization.
6. Cookies and analytics
Wallspace uses cookies and similar storage needed for sign-in, security, checkout continuity, site mode and application preferences. Blocking required storage may prevent sign-in or checkout from working.
Wallspace uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, in aggregate. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites. Necessary security, payment and operational records remain.
7. Retention
Wallspace keeps information only while reasonably needed for the purposes above. Account content may be removed or deactivated when appropriate, while agreement acceptances, reservations, messages, sales, tax, payment, fraud, security, and dispute records may be kept longer when needed for legal, accounting, safety, or evidentiary reasons.
Private exhibition history retains recorded lineups, displayed details and prices, relevant images, closure and sale corrections so participants and authorised founders can understand the exhibition. Removing a work from the current display does not erase that history. Account closure is not automatic erasure of shared obligations or financial records; contact support for a scoped review.
8. Security
Wallspace uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the current service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access or misuse of personal information.
9. Your choices
You may update supported profile fields in Wallspace and ask support to access, correct, deactivate, or delete eligible account information. Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they are needed to complete a transaction, preserve another party’s record, prevent fraud, or meet a legal obligation. Marketing choices will be separate from required service messages.
10. Age and policy changes
Wallspace is for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Material changes to this policy will receive reasonable notice and a new effective date; Wallspace will request acknowledgment or any specific consent that applicable law requires.
